Dimitris Maniatakos · Youth Worker & AI Trainer

Learn AI by Doing.

I help youth workers and organisations turn AI into practical learning experiences.

Hands-on training, non-formal learning and Erasmus+ projects, designed so that people leave with something they can use the following week.

AI Training

Nine learning areas, one way of learning.

From communicating with AI to building tools and designing learning experiences. A few of the areas we can work in:

  1. Communicate effectively with AI

You learn to ask useful questions, give the context a tool needs, and refine a prompt over several rounds instead of settling for the first answer.

  2. Build AI agents

An agent is an AI set up to carry out a multi-step task on its own: instructions, the tools it may use, the limits it must respect.

  3. Create games with AI

From an idea and a few simple rules to a playable prototype in one session, then into the hands of real players.

  4. Develop ethical judgement in AI use

Ethics here is a skill you practise, not a warning you read.

Three ways to work together

Choose the engagement that fits your team.

Each one rests on the same idea: people learn best when they try things on real tasks and then talk honestly about what happened.

Selected work

Two projects, one way of working.

A training for youth workers and a youth exchange with young people. Both built around doing rather than listening.

Training · Hungarian National Agency

Completed

Youth and AI

Integrating AI into the daily work of youth workers.

My role: Trainer, in the context of my Training of Trainers path

Read the case study
The challenge
Youth workers hear about AI every day but rarely get to test it against their own work, with colleagues and with time to fail.
The response
A hands-on training on integrating AI into everyday youth work: real tasks, tools tested side by side, limits named, activities built.

Erasmus+ Youth Exchange · Elafonisos, Greece

In progress

Y-Cycle

Co-creating personal portfolio websites with young people from four countries.

My role: Facilitator of the portfolio co-creation

Read the case study
The challenge
Young people often struggle to put their experience, skills and ambitions into words, let alone online.
The response
With participants from Greece, Romania, Hungary and Portugal, we co-create personal portfolio websites and use the building process to help each person articulate who they are and where they are going.

Looking for an AI trainer, a facilitator or an Erasmus+ partner?

If you are a National Agency planning a training, a youth organisation preparing an exchange, or an education team that wants to work with AI responsibly, write to me with the idea as it stands. I reply with questions and a first outline, not a brochure.
